Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how KontentKickstart collects, uses, stores, shares, and deletes information when you use our website, video-creation tools, analytics, scheduling features, or connect a third-party account. It also explains your choices and applies to Google and YouTube user data accessed with your permission.
Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information, including your email address, display name, profile preferences, plan, and support messages.
- Content you provide, including scripts, prompts, uploaded video, images, audio, brand assets, generated content, editing choices, captions, projects, and scheduled-post details.
- Product and security information, such as feature usage, error records, and the basic device or browser information needed to secure, operate, and improve the service.
- Connected-platform data that you authorize us to access, as described below.
Google and YouTube data we access
KontentKickstart uses YouTube API Services. When you choose to connect YouTube and approve Google's consent screen, we may access your YouTube channel ID, channel name, handle, description, channel and video statistics, uploads-playlist ID, and recent video IDs, titles, descriptions, publication dates, and engagement totals. We also receive OAuth access and refresh tokens so your requested connection can continue without asking you to sign in for every action.
When you ask KontentKickstart to publish or schedule a video, we send the video and the title, description, tags, audience setting, visibility, and schedule you choose to YouTube. If you use the available management controls, we may read the upload status, make a scheduled video private, update its status, or delete that YouTube video only after you expressly request that action.
KontentKickstart does not use the YouTube connection to access your watch history, private messages, contacts, or Google password.
How we use connected-platform data
We use connected-platform data only to provide user-facing features that you request: showing your connected channel and recent content, presenting private performance analytics, generating a creator performance briefing, publishing or scheduling content, confirming publishing status, and helping you manage content created through KontentKickstart.
If you request an AI performance briefing, relevant channel, post-level, and engagement information may be sent to our AI service provider to create that briefing for you. KontentKickstart does not use Google or YouTube user data to train or improve a generalized AI or machine-learning model, serve advertising, retarget users, determine creditworthiness, or sell data.
Storage, protection, and retention
Connected-account records, recent-content snapshots, and OAuth tokens are stored in private server-side systems. OAuth tokens are not exposed in the browser or public media URLs. We restrict access to systems and service providers that need the information to operate the requested feature.
We retain connected-platform data while your account or connection is active and as needed to provide the service, resolve security or support issues, and meet legal obligations. Disconnecting a platform deletes its saved connection record, imported snapshot, and OAuth credentials from KontentKickstart. Account deletion deletes your account and associated saved records, subject to limited records we must retain for legal, fraud-prevention, tax, or billing obligations.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information or Google user data. We share information only with service providers needed to deliver the features you request, such as hosting, database and private-media storage, AI processing, analytics, email, and payment providers; with a connected platform when you direct us to publish or manage content; for security and abuse prevention; or when required by law. Payment details are processed by Stripe, and KontentKickstart does not store full card numbers.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Your controls and deletion choices
You can disconnect Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube from the account-connections panel at any time. You can also revoke Google access from your Google Account's third-party connections page. Revoking or disconnecting stops future access, but it does not undo a post you already directed us to publish.
To permanently delete your KontentKickstart account and saved account data, open Settings and choose Delete account. You can request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy help by emailing support@kontentkickstart.com.
YouTube and Google terms
By using KontentKickstart's YouTube features, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. You can review the Google Privacy Policy and manage KontentKickstart's access in your Google Account connections.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. If a change materially affects how we use Google user data, we will provide notice and request any additional consent required before using that data for a new purpose.
